Recognition for our work

It's great to be recognised for the effort we've put into making Serco better year on year. In 2007, we were declared the UK's fourth most admired company in Britain's longest running and most respected business award programme, the Management Today's Most Admired Companies Award. Also, for the fourth year in a row, we have been voted the most admired support services company.

We won the coveted Operator of the Year award, based upon Serco's performance during a time of immense change on the Docklands Light Railway system in London. It was also great to be given the Best Customer Initiative award for the marketing campaign we ran to communicate the many service changes to the public. It shows that we will still give excellent customer service even during the tough times.

It's also important to recognise hard work internally, and the Serco Pulse Awards celebrate the vibrant heart of Serco as an organisation. Based on our governing principles the awards recognise examples of excellence in business operations or improvement, environmental and safety initiatives and leadership.
