The Government of Dubai and the Roads & Transport Authority have worked closely together to bring this ambitious project into reality. Serco has been brought on board to operate and maintain a multitude of highly sophisticated electrical and mechanical systems which in turn allows the RTA to focus on its core businesses such as preparing legislation, overseeing implementation and ensuring compliance. Serco will mobilise a workforce of fully trained and competent employees, creating new jobs for the transport industry in Dubai and making the Dubai Metro an employer of choice for UAE nationals.
